This was the first chair designed and built as part of the ‘EP1’ series which aims to create quickly-assembled and sturdy furniture using only recycled scrapyard metals. At the heart of this series is embracing the uncleaned weld and rusted metal. Initially the seat and back were left untreated, but were later painted and sealed so that rust stains on clothes are no longer a concern.
