A shelf made for small objects.
In order to keep the hardware securing the shelf to the wall hidden from view, interesting solutions/ details had to be used. The scalloped texture along the back is a separate piece from the rest of the shelf assembly, held together using neodymium ring magnets. When the textured piece is installed, it can easily be removed using a lever-type action, made possible through a sharp angle cut along the backside of the mitered box. Red acrylic inlays were also added in order to highlight this mechanism and add a contrasting pop of color.
